About My Best Friend Veterinary Center

The team at My Best Friend Veterinary Center proudly serves the pet families of Olivette, Creve Coeur, Ladue, Clayton, and the surrounding St. Louis area. This amazing facility was started by Dr. Bill in 1992, and today our veterinarians continue to follow his founding principle that when you visit us, you’re part of our family.

We are an appointment-only facility. Each appointment is tailored in time length to address all the owners concerns or to perform the necessary diagnostics. Our new client appointments are scheduled for 60 minutes, giving us time to fully get to know our new patient and to address all of their owner’s concerns. We also set time aside every day for our patients that require prompt, non-emergency care. These same-day appointments are usually worked in as drop-off appointments so we can treat your pets without interruption to other scheduled services.

We proudly work with two cat rescues, Tenth Life and Cat Network, to help our community’s kitties get healthy and find safe homes… while trying not to adopt all of them ourselves.

We strongly believe that preventative care is paramount to your pet’s health, and educate our clients on the importance of vaccinations, parasite preventatives, routine bloodwork, dental cleanings, spaying/neutering, etc at every appointment. Should your furry friend become sick, we can evaluate, diagnose, and treat a wide range of medical issues in-house. We are also a one-stop-shop for dog grooming.

Of course, a high standard of medicine is important, but what really makes us special is our staff. You’ll get to know the receptionists by name when you call, and you’ll hear the technicians singing to your pet in the back. You’ll also hear us laugh throughout the clinic; this isn’t a stuffy doctors’ office, we love what we do and love working together, and of course, we love caring for your pets.
